The village has preserved the remnants of its feudal castle and a tithe court.

> Riquewhir (15 km) :
An admirably preserved medieval town with thirteenth century fortifications, a dolder (defence tower) and houses dating from 1509 to 1686.

> Gueberschwir (17 km) :
Roman bell tower.

> Hunawhir (18 km) :
Visit the fortified fifteenth century church.

> Ribeauvillé (20 km) :
The village is overlooked by three castles; there is also a twelfth century church, a fifteenth century convent, the Butchers' Tower and the "fiddlers' house".

Some of the most beautiful Renaissance style houses in Alsace. 

Bergheim (22 km) : 

Fortified thirteenth century town with a witch museum.
